Uff! It’s so tough living and dealing with the hectic pace of a Metro. Sometimes, we wish that we could run away into another world. This urgent need to ‘get away’, especially in the urban scenario, is becoming an increasing reality.

The much needed ‘me’ time is never achieved at home with endless chores to be completed and this is where a day spa can be a blessing in disguise. A place where you can relax, recharge, reflect, detox and enjoy beauty treatments too. Off lately I am feeling overworked, sleep deprived and craving some pampering.

So I decided to visit Metamorphosis Clinic in Bandra that is not only a spa but offers the best solutions for skin, hair and obesity problems. They specialize in Botox, Dermal Fillers, Laser Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation, Tattoo Removal, Obesity Treatment, Hair Loss Solutions & Cosmetic Surgeries – including liposuction, facelift, breast augmentation amongst a few! Reception At Metamorphosis Clinic:

I was greeted warmly at the reception and guided to the consultation room without any wait. Dr. Pranita Sharma checked my skin and hair and recommended some special therapies that would help improve my hair texture and rejuvenate me too.

Ambiance:

One of the most important aspects of a good spa experience is the feel. The spa feels classy and opulent when you enter, a pretty reception, white clean walls mirrors, lounge chairs, candles, and the showcase with in-house beauty products. The therapy rooms are more basic but serve the purpose. Cleanliness and hygiene is the main focus.

Service was spot-on here. Small things like offering me a beverage while I was waiting, to a cup of refreshing herbal tea when I was getting my hair treatment done, made such a difference.

1.Body Spa Services

I first tried the deep tissue oil body massage/spa to relieve my stress and tired nerves. Prachi – my therapist worked for her soft hands like magic while being sensitive towards the pressure. I almost passed out on the massage table. After a steam and shower, I was ready for my next therapy.

2. Hair Nourishment

Loved this the best of all, in fact, anyone giving me a slow head massage relieves stress and relaxes you all over. Kalim- my therapist at first applied hot hair oil to my scalp. The oil had a mild yet floral fragrance, a quick fingertip massage and I felt like a sleepy baby to hit the pillow. Then it was time to sit under the steam machine and catch up on some social media. After a hair wash, the nourishment pack was applied. It consisted of egg, curd, and some other powders. It was kept on for 20 minutes before my wash and blow dry. And oh boy!! My hair felt soft and beautiful.

3. Oxi facial

By now I was getting used to all this pampering, and my facial was next. After ushering me into the treatment room, my therapist Pooja, first cleansed and exfoliated my face. She delicately moved those fingers in magical movements. Her hands were super soft and she did a fabulous job. She got rid of my treacherous blackheads, further massaged with gels and creams. Later the oxi-hydra machine was blasted on my face, it feels like a blast of cold air on the skin, with a slight pressure but nothing painful or uncomfortable. The pack was lastly applied with rose water cotton pads on my eyes for me to relax. A heavenly experience indeed.
