I actually pictured myself whacking the hot sun and sending it behind the clouds.Well,that’s not possible so lets try and beat it in a race and stay cool this summer. Summer plays havoc with our skin too, adding to our woes of dullness, stickiness and sweat.

Maybelline says “Not anymore.” They sent me a #StaySummerFresh kit to review. The Summer Essential kit came in a glittery zip pouch. It contained

1) Maybelline White Superfresh
Maybelline Compact powder is beautifully styled in a white compact case, sturdy yet sleek round plastic case with a mirror attached to the lid. A good quality application puff is also provided along with the package. White Super Fresh compact is available in three different shades Pearl, Shell and Coral, suited for Indian skin. I have tried the Pearl variant and am very happy with its dry effect. It is suited for that summer no make up look.

2) Baby Lips
As we all know, Maybelline New York has an exciting and wide range of lip balms under the franchise ‘Baby Lips’. Honestly this lip balm needs no introduction at all, I love baby lips as it really gives me soft happy lips. The texture of this lip balm is non-sticky, soft and smooth. It is very easy to apply, two or three swipes and the job is done. Don’t we all love all the flavours it has to offer?

3) Collosal Kajal
Do I need to say anything about Colossal Kajal? The effect it has is mesmerizing. I am happy that Maybelline included this waterproof Kajal in their summer essential kit so that summer sweat won’t ruin your eyes. It is long lasting and totally worth the price.
