My Ultimate Bucket List – Travel to Machu Picchu

“ I’m in love with cities I’ve never been to and people I’ve never met.” – John Green.

My passion for travel

I relate to this quote and many times feel the same way. Just wish I was an albatross to fly over the borders and oceans without a visa or passport. Visit some unknown destination, breathing the fresh air of the mountains or get lost in a desert, not knowing where to go.

But Alas, this is simply not possible, all this can happen only in an adventurous dream. My mind is a travel addict, while also being a frequent flyer. It has traveled to the mysterious land of Machu Picchu, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China umpteen number of times.

Dare to date an unknown destination?

Not everyone has the courage to step out of their small secure world to travel to an unknown destination just looking at some pictures and reading travelogues. No planning, no research just pack your bags and zoom. But its time to convert your #Bucketlist to a #TheBlindList just like a blind date with your dream destination and #SayYesToTheWorld with Lufthansa.
I need some push and encouragement to fuel my desire for travel. Glad to get that push to go on this blind date. Travel completes me in a mysterious way. Feel a sense of calm and tranquillity in an unknown destination talking to strangers is rare, but would love to experience this.

My first dream date destination would be to Travel to Machu Picchu, one of the new seven wonders of the world. Wish to have my own unplanned adventures like Tintin and Captain Haddock.

At Machu Picchu, the terrain is so jagged that only 35% of the territory has been examined. All this sounds like a puzzle waiting to be solved. Machu Picchu is located in the Andes mountains in south-central Peru.

The ancient city certainly allows us a glimpse into the lost culture of the Incas, while the mountain-top views from this ancient citadel are a photographer’s dream.

Best time to Travel to Machu Picchu

Don’t we all want the perfect time and weather during our travels? The best time to Travel to Machu Picchu with clear blue skies as a backdrop to sun-lit stone ruins is a perfect dream come true.  May and October are the best travel months. However, tourists flock round the year to see this one of the seven wonders of the world.

travel to Machu Picchu – Temple of the Sun

Machu Picchu has a number of structures and buildings around the entire expanse of land. One of them is the “Temple of the Sun,” or Torreón has an elliptical design similar to another temple. The Temple of the Sun is an important part of the Incan civilization. Wish to learn more about this architectural marvel and its purpose when I travel to Machu Picchu.

My blind date with Machu Picchu

Traveling here on a blind date, not realizing what to expect will be a totally exhilarating experience. Get to see new places, taste new cuisine, learn about new cultures. Above all the history and life of the people back then. Definitely, I am going to take time to comprehend the impact of this magnificent place co-existing with Mother Nature. Adding it to my dream destinations

Machu Picchu is always on my wishlist and you are lucky to set your blind date to this place. Hopefully, you enjoy a lot as this wonderful terrain. Great to know about Temple of Sun and even in India we worship sun and have many ancient temples of Sun.

Just the concept of a blind destination adventure such as that in the Lufthansa program is something I find really exciting. To be able to do something impulsive like this is what I would love to do one day. As to your dream destination of Machu Picchu, I definitely share that dream with you. This is a place I can’t wait to visit someday. It is definitely in my plans and I know I will get there one day.
